After 12 years of restoration accurate by the Hermitage, and thanks to an international agreement, the extraordinary work "The Flight into Egypt" by Tiziano returns after 250 years in his Venice from August 29 to December 2 at the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice.
The work of considerable size (204x324 cm) arrives in Venice from London and will be the masterpiece of an exhibition that brings together valuable ia painted ca. 20 works of the great Venetian masters who, in the late fifteenth and early sixteenth century, helped to innovate the view of nature, among others Bellini, Giorgione, Sebastiano from Lead, Lot.
A unique opportunity to admire the magnificent scenery, exceptional in the panorama of Italian and Venetian painting of the early sixteenth century, made in the traditional shape of the canvas.
The exhibition will be open Monday from 8:15 am to 2 pm and from Tuesday to Sunday until 7.15 pm.
The single ticket costs € 14.00 but see the website for the various reductions, will also visit the Gallerie dell'Accademia and the Palazzo Grimani.
