Culture at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini
Cini Foundation (Fondazione Giorgio Cini), on San Giorgio Maggiore island in Venice, was founded in the mid XX century by Vittorio Cini, who named it after his deceased son Giorgio.
The suggestive cloisters and buildings of the Cini Foundation regularly hosts cultural exhibitions, International congresses and political meetings (among them, two G7), in a quite although central location, facing Saint Mark square.
