Vedova Museum
An original museum design by Renzo Piano
Vedova Museum on Venice displays artworks by Emilio Vedova, a contemporary Venetian painter and stage designer.
The most interesting characteristic of Vedova museum is the original setting designed by architect Renzo Piano: canvas are not fixed on the walls but are instead permanently moved through a mechanical system from a deposit to the exhibition room, where visitors can admire them for a couple of hours. The setting is not fixed either, but it is rather a dynamic one, where paintings stay at different hights.
Water bus stop: Zattere.
